Choppy-Range Band Reversion (Educational)

Educational example: this classic setup does not beat trading costs in our tests — use it to learn, not to trade as is. Fades Bollinger Band extremes, but only when the Choppiness Index says the market is ranging. A long opens when price closes below the lower band while CHOP is above its threshold; the target is the band's middle line. Shorts mirror at the upper band. An ATR stop and a time stop

Back-tests and forward tests are simulations; past results do not predict future ones. Nothing here is financial advice. Trading carries a high risk of loss.
