Laguerre RSI
Ehlers' Laguerre RSI runs price through a four-stage Laguerre filter (a very short, low-lag smoothing network) and builds an RSI from the differences between the stages. It reacts within a few bars, stays pinned near 0 or 1 in strong moves, and gives crisp turns. One gamma parameter (0-1) sets the smoothing: higher = smoother and slower.

How to use it
Cross back above 0.2 after being below = long timing cue; cross back below 0.8 after being above = short cue. Readings stuck at 1 (or 0) mean a strong trend: do not fade it. Gamma 0.5 is Ehlers' default; 0.7 suits noisy 15m crypto. Concept: J. Ehlers, "Cybernetic Analysis for Stocks and Futures" (2004) and "Time Warp — Without Space Travel" (Laguerre filters).
