This is a lazy four-fund portfolio. It always holds 25% each in IWD (US large value stocks), GLD (gold) and IEF (7 to 10 year US Treasuries). The fourth slot is normally QQQ (the Nasdaq 100), but it can be swapped for SHY (1 to 3 year US Treasuries) when the economy looks like it is turning.
