OBV Trend Confirmation

Joseph Granville's idea that volume precedes price, turned into rules. A long opens when price closes above its N-bar high (a breakout) AND On-Balance Volume is also at a new N-bar high — volume confirms the move. Shorts need a price breakdown confirmed by an OBV breakdown. The trade exits when OBV drops back below its moving average (the volume support is gone) or on an ATR trailing stop.
